Sites in this line of work often keep the useful part behind a wall: a figure appears only after you hand over a phone number, or a page describes a trip and then asks you to ask before it says where anybody sleeps. This one does not work that way. Everything the office has written is on the site already, in full, at a fixed address, and this page lists those addresses so you can go straight to whichever one you came for.

That includes the parts a booking office is usually quiet about. The terms we place a reservation under, what happens when a trip is called off and who owes what to whom, the questions people ask that have blunt answers, and the fact that the operating company bills you under its own contract while this office is paid a commission by that company once you are home again: all of it has a page below and none of it needs a form first. The request form is for when you want particular dates priced. It is not a gate.

Two notes on how the list is arranged. The twenty-five addresses under the wish index are not trips, they are the popular requests this office does not arrange, and each one grants what is genuinely good about the thing asked for before it explains what stands in the way and what is offered instead. The Santorini page will tell you that the caldera at dusk deserves its reputation, and then tell you what 88 degrees and a cruise call of four thousand people on the same afternoon does to the walk down to Ammoudi. The trip pages sit one click on from there, each with a price from $1,500 to $5,070 per person, the season it runs in, what the figure covers and what it leaves for you to pay on the ground.

If you would rather not work through the list, the working method sets out the four stages between a first message and a confirmed reservation, the frequently asked page answers the things people write in and ask, and the note on getting your money back explains what happens if a trip is called off from either side. every request paired with its trip is the wish index itself. the form for a written figure is where you name dates and a headcount and ask for a figure.

This office keeps no counter hours and publishes none, because a printed opening time would be a promise about a person rather than about the work. What is promised instead is a deadline: every request that reaches the form is read in the order it arrived and answered within one business day, and if the answer needs longer than that you will get a note saying so and what it is waiting on.

One last thing worth saying plainly on the page that lists everything. This office arranges nothing itself. It takes your request, places the reservation with the company that runs the trip, and hands you across to that company, which invoices you directly and holds the contract you travel on. Nobody here asks for a card number, nothing on this site checks out, and not one page below will ever ask you for one. No aircraft, no rooms and no vessel are ours, we are not a tour operator, and we are not an online booking site, and we are not connected to any of them. We form no opinions for you to read, we grade nothing, and we award nothing. The twenty-five refusals below are about heat, crowds, water levels, blossom dates and road surfaces, matters of fact about particular places at particular times of year, and not about anybody's taste. Wanting to see Santorini in July is an entirely reasonable thing to want.
